KOM took place in Sydhavn Copenhagen. The project was an attempt to arrange a mobile exhibition. 25 different artists and groups participated. KOM was trying to create a opportunity to travel and and visit different places and cities that in normal cases doesn't have access to contemporary art.

KOM aimed to take an initiative to let art become a more natural part of culture than it normaly is today, and at the same time influence peoples daily life. The exhibition space consisted of several moveable pavilion modules and the participating artist's vans, trucks etc.

Within the framework of KOM New Beginings was present at Mozart Platz whith a green van. The van was used as a platform for radio broadcasting, live music, serving food and for distribution.

The radio transmissions were performed ocationally as local transmissions in the area around Mozartplatz as well as mobile transmissions in other parts of Kopenhagen. The transmissions were used as an open channel for different experiments, distribution of recordedmaterial and any kind of information.

Information about the transmissions (frequency, time etc) was spread viaflyers and ads in local newspapers.
