| Radiomast is a 6 meter mast with a FM transmitter and a dipole antenna at the top. A meter and a half from the ground there is a microphone and a connector for cd or casette players, where anyone can transmit whatever they feel like. Radiomast is for public use and will be on location 24/7. The unit is powered by a batterypack and a solar panel. It´s range will be about 4-5 kilometers, a small city.
Radiomast is a resource that make it simple to make a radiotransmission. Radiomast could be used as a speakers corner, or as a way to distribute music or other audio material to a broader public. We are currently working on finding a suitable site for Radiomast and put it up permanent. |
