During the exhibition "What If" at Moderna Museet, Stockholm, New Beginings arranged an event at N55 Spaceframe with a dj-set, live electronic music and food.

A few years back, the Council of Stockholm purposed a "zero-tolerance" on graffiti and by that mean also streetart in many forms. This means that there is no tolerance whatsoever for any posting of bills or wallpaintings etc. A silly repressiv method which can not be tolerated by anyone supporting the belief in freedom of speech.

Original Version

The first version of Graffitifixator is consisting of a plastic container containing a two component transparent varnish that we apply on an existing wallpainting by spraying. The varnish is hardneing and protective which increases the pieces "survival time", making the painting virtually impossible to remove.

In this version the varnish is squeezed into a paint sponge from two diferent containers. The two components blend into the sponge an the coating can begin. After aprox 30 min the clearcoat has hardened and the spunge needs to be replaced. The major advantages of version 2 is that it is that it´s low cost and, and easy to both carry around and use.

Any type of two component clear coat can be used. We prefer sikkens for its exelent quality
